Our Philosophy
We like to apply three simple principles:
Listen to the patient and they will tell you what is wrong.
We believe you have the right to speak and be heard. Much can be gained by
dialogue between patient and doctor. Only you know what is bothering you. But,
sometimes it is difficult to express these concerns. It takes time to build a rapport
and feel comfortable sharing intimate problems.
If all else fails, examine the patient.
An examination has many components from biochemical to structural, to mental,
to spiritual. A person is a very complex entity and every aspect of your being
plays an integral role in your health.
First you make the diagnosis, then comes the treatment.
Treating a patient without knowing the real problem is going to lead to failure and
frustration. It is better to take time to formulate a plan than to make a guess and
hurriedly move on to the next patient.
